In 1847 Louis-François Cartier took over the jewelry workshop of his master, Adolphe Picard, at 29 Rue Montorgueil in Paris. A modest descendant of a powder horn maker, he managed to become a master jeweler and register his trademark, the famous heart between the initials L and C surrounded by a diamond, within a year of taking over the company.

While the focus of the first two generations was mainly  on jewelry and jewels, Louis Cartier also loved the art of watchmaking. During his fruitful career he was able to give the industry an entirely new impetus. His imagination, unsurpassed sense of style and the influence that his designs had, put his watch creations a level above all other competitors. His ideas became design classics, which effortlessly survived the passing trends and fashions and in their inimitable way had long since become timeless masterpieces.

In 2007 the Richemont Group, the owner of the Cartier brand, purchased the production facility of the Geneva watch company Manufacture Roger Dubuis SA and with this also 28 exclusive movements of the manufacturer. In addition to the workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Cartier has now studios in Geneva, the metropolis of watchmaking at Lake Geneva. This allows a number of new movements to be certified with the prestigious Geneva Seal.

Meanwhile, Cartier is making its own way towards high-quality calibres in manufacturing. At the SIHH 2009 they proudly presented four self-developed movements, including complex constructions such as the 9452 MC with flying tourbillon, the column wheel chronograph movement 9431 MC with tourbillon and the mono-pusher chronograph movement 9907 MC. In 2010, Cartier introduced a double-barrel, automatic calibre 1904 MC in the Calibre de Cartier.

    We ship from our flagship store in Atlanta, GA. All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on holidays.

    If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

    Shipping rates & delivery estimates

    Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We use USPS, FedEx and UPS and shipping carriers.

    * Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States.

    Delivery delays can occasionally occur based on weather conditions.

    Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

    Swiss Luxury Watches  ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

    Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

    You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

    Customs, Duties and Taxes

    Swiss Luxury Watches is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).


    You are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping, in this unlikely event please call us and we will do our best to help locate the shipment or replace. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

    Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.



    Returning Your Watch

    Any watch purchased from Swiss Luxury Watches can be returned within the first 5 days of arrival. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Any items outside this window is cannot be returned and all those sales will be deemed final.



    We currently DO NOT ship outside of the United States. Pricing and Delivery vary based on location.

    We know the value of security, so every pre-owned watch we sell comes with a 12-month warranty alongside any remaining manufacturer's warranty. Should your watch develop any issues, through no fault of your own, then we shall repair it free of charge for the duration of your warranty. Please note our warranty doesn’t apply to new watches.


    How Does the Warranty Work

    • If you have any remaining manufacturer's warranty, then you can send your watch to them for repair either via us or via an authorized retailer.
    • If your watch is covered by a Swiss Luxury Watches warranty only, then we will undertake the repairs in conjunction with the manufacturer where necessary.
    • If your watch is not covered by any warranty then you can send it to us for a quote. Any work undertaken by us will be covered by a further 24-month Swiss Luxury Watches warranty.

    Important Information

    Please note that our warranty covers manufacturing and mechanical defects only.

    Our warranty is subject to the same terms and conditions as the manufacturer’s warranty. The standard manufacturer’s warranty does not cover theft or loss of the watch. Normal wear-and-tear or damage caused to the watch by accidents or mishandling/mistreatment are also excluded, as well as damage caused to a watch due to submersion in water which is against the manufacturer's guidelines. One  particular example not covered by the warranty is the wear of the watch strap. 

    Any modification of a watch by the addition or substitution of components with aftermarket products which have not been provided by the manufacturer will also invalidate the warranty. The use of aftermarket components can severely compromise the technical performance, reliability and waterproofness of the watch.

    Warranty return packs are sent directly to the service center, however you are free to deliver your warranty return to any Swiss Luxury Watches premises where it will be forwarded along to the service center directly. Please be advised that warranty return packs must be adequately insured at your own expense. The warranty is in addition to your statutory and common law rights.

    What if My Watch Has a Problem

    If your watch develops a fault, you can return it to us for inspection. If the repair is covered by your warranty, it will be undertaken free of charge. To begin the warranty return process, please complete the form below, providing as much information about the fault as you can. A member of the warranty team will then contact you to arrange the repair.
